Caves & Catacombs Remastered Edition
Caves & Catacombs » Devlog
Hi!
Now that Little Town Remastered Edition is out in the wild, I was able to finish the remastered edition of Caves & Catacombs.
The game remains the same, but some things have been improved:
- The revised combat rules, previously published in the 'Alternative Combat Rules' supplement, have been officially incorporated into the game.
- The Bard, Druid, and Ranger classes from the 'Into the Wild' supplement are now part of the core game.
- The rules for saving throws, loot, and spell damage by caster level have also been incorporated into the game.
- The list of Special Enemies has been improved and now features all foes previously found only in the 'Encounters' supplement.
- Regarding its setting, now the game provides more to chew on.
- The text has been completely revised in an attempt to address translation issues from Portuguese to English.
Compatibility with the 'Encounters' and 'Into the Wild' supplements has not been broken, because the rules and mechanics remain unchanged.
I hope you'll enjoy it!

Loving this game, however, I was wondering whether there are any supplements in the works for things to spend gold on? Once I have equipment/armour and a stock of potions, there really isn't anything to spend it on?
I'm currently working on a complete rewrite of the Encounters supplement, which will feature some Magical Equipment, though the PCs won't be able to buy them directly. That said, I like the idea of a supplement dedicated to special items, and it's definitely something I can consider developing in the future. Appreciate the suggestion, and thanks for your feedback!
